Gamecon
Gamecon was the first conference entirely dedicated to the gaming industry happening in Mauritius. Organised by Panda & Wolf Holding, the event hosted experts from the multinational Ubisoft and Aestetika Studio. Among the elocutionists, Indian Fashion Stylist Suraj Mahtani, costume designer for the Just Dance Video Game at Ubisoft, a global video game development company.
Gamecon 2019 conference also welcomed Ingrid Bell, CEO of the very famous South-African design agency Aestetika Studio, established in Mauritius, who addressed the themes of the psychology of colors, sound and music in the development processes of animations such as cartoons and advertising animations.
During the Gamecon 2019, the Co-Founder of Panda & Wolf Holding shared a few words to the public about effects of video games on the human brain, character conceptualization as well as the screenwriting work of this industry.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, no conference was organized in 2020 but Panda & Wolf Holding is preparing the next Conference for 2021.
